The Leeds Institute for Data Analytics brings together applied research groups and data scientists from all disciplines, opening up new opportunities to understand health and human behaviour and casting light on the action required to tackle a wide range of social and environmental problems. Connecting academic research with external partners in business, government and the third sector, LIDA is matching the world class capabilities of University research with the needs and opportunities of local organisations and becoming a major powerhouse for research, civic engagement and business growth in the North of England and beyond.
As the Co-Director you will provide day-to-day operational and strategic leadership and management within LIDA, working closely with the other Directors. Undertaking internationally leading research and inspirational teaching in your substantive, Professorial role, you will make a major contribution to the strategic academic development, direction and leadership of LIDA and the wider University.
You are expected to work in accordance with the University’s policies, procedures and values, promoting academic excellence through integrity, inclusiveness, professionalism and community.

Please note: Due to the current Government Coronavirus lockdown and social distancing measures, the interviews for this role are likely to be conducted remotely using Microsoft Teams or Zoom. It is also expected that relevant work within these roles may be done remotely, within the UK, while these restrictions remain in place.
