Job Description

Our group welcomes application to a postdoctoral opportunity for a highly motivated and collaborative individual who is capable of independent reasoning and excited about learning new technologies. The candidate should have excellent writing and communication skills and have familiarity with basic immunology techniques such as multi-color flow cytometry, cell isolation, cell culture, ELISA, ELISPOT, as well as, RT-PCR, molecular cloning and animal (mouse) handling. Interest or expertise in managing/analyzing large data sets microbiome analysis is also desirable. The successful candidate will participate in the development of a lactic acid bacteria vaccine platform and application against rotaviruses, coronaviruses, HIV and tumors. Additionally, the candidate will gain experience in the fields of mucosal immunology and the mucosal microbiome
The laboratory is located in the Infectious Disease Research Center at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO and is a dynamic mix of PhD and undergraduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and experienced technicians.
