Position Summary or Faculty Qualifications
Saint Joseph’s University is looking to hire highly qualified adjunct faculty. Adjunct faculty may teach 1-2 courses per semester.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching sculpture classes including intro to 3D Art or Intro to Mixed Media
Preparation of materials
Providing support and guidance to students, grading assignments, and safely functioning in the woodshop and digital fabrication studio environment.
Classes meet once a week.

Secondary Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements:
MFA Degree

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous teaching experience and a willingness to be flexible and responsive in designing course curriculum to meet the needs of SJU students who may not have a background in previously studying studio art.
