Job Summary:

The Associate Director, Executive Engagement is responsible for maintaining Kellogg’s relationship with top donors and prospects, including alumni legacies. This position works with the major gift team and senior management to create an integrated strategic engagement plan which includes all high-level engagement opportunities across Kellogg. This position will work across Kellogg and maintain knowledge about programmatic components of the school in addition to ongoing and future special projects to create robust engagement opportunities for alumni. This information will be utilized to engage potential donors and create opportunities for donor engagement and support. This position will also conceptualize events and opportunities for cultivation and recognition of top donors and prospective donors.

Specific Responsibilities:

Engagement Strategies—Create an integrated strategic engagement plan to include all high-level engagement opportunities across Kellogg for donors and prospective donors. Create engagement and giving opportunities for legacy alumni. Work across Kellogg with Kellogg Senior Leadership to understand programmatic components of the school in addition to ongoing initiatives and projects to create robust inventory of engagement opportunities for alumni. Conceptualize events and opportunities for cultivation and recognition of top donors and prospective donors.
Collaboration—Acts as key liaison between campaign management and the Speakers and Conferences contact at Kellogg to ensure all key alumni are being utilized across the school and the greater university in key speaking engagements and thought leadership opportunities.
Reporting— Ensure all Dean’s engagement metrics are tracked properly in Catracks and are reported as required in an effective and accurate manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
5+ years' experience in related setting, preferably in an educational setting.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and cooperatively with senior leadership and other staff across Kellogg and the University.
Demonstrated ability to interact with high level alumni and friends of Kellogg.
Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
Detail oriented.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and creative skills.
Computer skills, familiarity comfort working with Microsoft Office Suite.
