Responsibilities
Summary: With Annual Giving Director, helps manage all aspects of our afternoon and evening phonathon calling program. Responsibilities include managing a student calling team; daily preparation of calling segmentation and scripting; and collaborating with Advancement Services to ensure data exchanges are accurate, timely, and efficient.

Primary duties entail coordinating the ongoing daily management of 15-30 student callers. This supervision of remote (virtual) calling shifts includes:

• scheduling and timesheet management
• keeping students engaged and encouraging positive conversations with alumni, parents, and friends
• helping solve technical issues
• providing student callers with valuable feedback and guidance
• and reporting on daily activity.

Previous call center experience and/or management of student workers is preferred.

Experience and Qualifications

Education: REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: (years required and applicable field of experience): Bachelor's degree required, along with 1+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an education, nonprofit, or similar advancement setting. Technical and management/volunteer coordination experience is highly desirable.

Skills/Abilities: (e.g. computer skills, written & verbal skills, trades, laws, procedures, technical): Candidate must have superior writing, editing, verbal, and technical skills with exceptional attention to detail, as well as experience with Adobe suite, InDesign, and Microsoft Office. Experience with online platforms, including email service providers and content management systems preferred. Candidate must be creative, highly driven and goal-oriented, self-motivated, an exceptional team player, and eager to take our annual giving efforts to the next level.

Other requirements: Program management involves evening and/or weekend responsibilities.
