Job Description

Position Highlights Assists in the development and presentation of 4-H statewide teen leadership programs and the recruitment of volunteers and youth. Incumbents will assist the Associate Director-4-H Programs, University of Arizona Cooperative Extension in the implementation of state level leadership to youth and adult volunteer audiences. Incumbents assist in the design, development, and implementation of instructional materials and programs for youth ages (14-18) on the topic of leadership development. This position focuses on the delivery of teen leadership programming with a target audience of teen opportunity development. Incumbents typically report Associate Director, 4-H Youth Development. This classification requires a flexible work schedule in order to meet the objectives of the teen leadership extension program.
This person will need to successfully passes a background check.

Duties & Responsibilities
Assists in the development of selection and recruitment of Arizona 4-H teens for workshops and training sessions on leadership.
Assists and/or organizes, promotes, coordinates and conducts state teen 4-H ambassador program for 4-H youths aged (14-18).
Participates in needs assessment for Extension program planning, development and implementation.
Answers inquiries and provides information relating to completion of forms, meetings, materials, recordkeeping and other related functions to conduct programs.
This position will meet with 4h personnel or youth in our county offices, if needed
