The Ball State University Foundation is seeking a dedicated person to play a key role in a broad portfolio of strategic initiatives. This individual is a servant-leader with the leadership, diplomacy, and governance skills in organizing the day-to-day planning, strategies and operations of the Ball State Foundation Board. This position directly interfaces with staff from across the Foundation associated with the Foundation Board and strategic planning to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are engaged, informed, and have visibility into the planning details.

Primarily a project management role with a broad portfolio of strategic initiatives, this position is responsible for the design and execution components to facilitate the strategic planning process, drive proactive staff task management, and generate timely internal communications to all relevant partners and leadership.

The Assistant Director of Foundation Board Relations, Strategic Planning and Assistant Secretary serves as a liaison to the Ball State University Foundation Board of Directors. This individual is a servant-leader with the leadership, diplomacy, and governance skills in organizing the day-to-day planning, strategies and operations of the Ball State Foundation Board.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree OR an associate’s degree with two years of related experience will be accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Three years of related experience.

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Additional years of related experience; project management experience; web publishing experience; donor relations experience.
