Job Description

Faculty responsibilities include teaching in classroom, clinical, and/or simulation environments in baccalaureate courses for adult health, medical-surgical, psychiatric mental health, and other courses as appropriate; and/or teaching in the Family Nurse Practitioner Track of the MS in Nursing program.
Part-time, semester instructor assignments in the School of Nursing are available for the Spring 2021 semester beginning in January 2021.

Job Function:

Faculty responsibilities include teaching in classroom, clinical, and/or simulation environments in baccalaureate courses for adult health, medical-surgical, psychiatric mental health, and other courses as appropriate; and/or teaching in the Family Nurse Practitioner Track of the MS in Nursing program.

Minimum Experience:

Current unencumbered State of Indiana Registered Nurse License; Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university by the date of appointment; national certification as an NP or an earned doctorate in nursing from an accredited college or university (if teaching master’s program).

Preferred Experience:

Teaching experience in higher education; clinical nursing experience in related area of teaching; ability to communicate effectively; ability to integrate technology in nursing education; current clinical practice as an NP.
