About This Role:

The Materials Research Laboratory for Sustainable Energy in The Tim Taylor Department of Chemical Engineering at Kansas State University is seeking a full-time Fellow (Post Doc) with fuel cell and electrochemistry background. This position will work on two projects, one is developing solid oxide cells for power generation and chemicals manufacturing; the second one studying advanced electrocatalysts for chemical energy storage.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in electrochemical characterization including EIS, CV, and others
Experience in inorganic materials synthesis and electrochemistry
Experience in fuel cells and other electrochemical devices including electrolysis cells, batteries
Familiar with SEM, TEM, XPS, XRD, GC-FID-TCD-MS, FTIR, Raman, and other materials characterization techniques
Ability to meet project deadlines
Ability to design and conduct advanced experiments
Other Requirements:

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:

$ 48,000 - $ 49,000 annual salary
