Job Description


Provides administrative support for office of Institutional Advancement office leadership team specifically, Assistant Vice President of Development.  The Senior Coordinator, Business Operations reports directly to Business Operations Manager.  Will also provide high level business operational support for the department.  Will help lead the operations coordinator team in partnership with Business Operations Manager. 

Job Duties

  • Drafts documents/communications and prepares reports and presentations that will be shared with high wealth donors.
  • Schedules meetings and manages calendars and events. coordinators will other ELT members support staff when necessary for meeting coordination
  • Makes travel arrangements.  Reconciles travel expenses, and general reimbursement requests.
  • Enters information into donor database on behalf of AVP of Development.  Information such as actions.  Also looks up donor information in the database. Provide AVP of Development with donor and fundraising support in partnership with data analytics team.
  • Provides fundraising support for AVP of Development, including but not limited to working directly with high wealth donors.
  • May draft letters to donors on behalf of AVP of development.
  • Coordinates will other ELT members support staff when necessary for meeting coordination.
  • Manages calendar including meeting changes as needed.  Assist in prioritizing meetings and adjusting as needed.
  • Works around semi-complex challenges as it relates to supporting AVP of Developments. 
  • Uses vast support experience to anticipate the needs of AVP of development and team.
  • Makes necessary travel arrangement, along with coordinating meetings during travel with outside parties.
  • Will be responsible for entering donor engagement information into our donor database, NXT.  Possibly pulling donor contact information or other data from the system.
  • Assists in training current staff to meet the support needs of the department.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred education in communications, business management, or other related field
  • Preferred six or more year supporting executive level
  • Experience working in the fundraising field
  • Experience in fundraising databases
