Earth Systems Laboratory (EES 031) is the corresponding laboratory for Earth Systems (EES 030), which introduces students to the field of physical geography: the study of spatial distributions of phenomena across landscape, processes that created and changed those distributions, and implications for those distributions on people. This course will investigate the four components of the Earth system in detail: the atmosphere, the oceans, the solid Earth, and the biosphere.

This Laboratory meets remotely on Tuesday from 3:30 - 5:30 pm during the Spring 2021 Term.

Candidates must live in California, must have a Masters or Ph.D. preferred in Earth Sciences or Physical Geography, knowledge of Earth systems and cycles related to atmospheric, ocean, and surface processes, and a successful record of teaching in a related field at the undergraduate level and experience with online/hybrid instruction.
