Are you an inspirational teacher with expertise in the delivery of chemical engineering concepts through digital routes? Do you have a passion for ensuring students receive the most relevant and up-to-date experience from digital education activities? Can you guide and support students to attain their full potential? Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience in a research-intensive Russell Group University?
This varied role will encompass activities across undergraduate and postgraduate chemical engineering taught courses, with a focus on leading the development, delivery and management of digital based activities including software packages (e.g. Aspen HYSYS; CES EduPack, LabVIEW, Microsoft Visio and SolidWorks), programming (e.g. Matlab) and other digitally enhanced opportunities. Key will be to ensure they are fit for purpose, deliver against relevant learning outcomes and are up-to-date and align with the expectations of industry.
In addition to being able to demonstrate enthusiastic and effective teaching skills to impart understanding of chemical engineering principles across all levels through a digitally enhanced route, you will have experience of chemical engineering in a Higher Education setting, and demonstrate excellent team working skills with an ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, and possess excellent communication skills.
