Do you have the skills and experience of working with data to develop insights and understanding? Can you work independently on a range of projects that include working to bring consensus?
Leeds University Business School (LUBS) is looking to recruit a skilled individual to develop and maintain a range of data and planning tools in support of the operation of the School. LUBS is a large school with six divisions, over 250 academic staff, more than 35 degree programmes for undergraduate and Masters students, and a growing number of research projects. Effective use of data and databases is essential in supporting the delivery of the School strategy. Hence, the School wishes to have tools and processes that support managers in planning, and that provide management information to support effective use of all available resources. The role will support a range of decisions from strategic to operational through collecting, analysing and drawing inference from data, as well as supporting the management of a range of databases and research tools.
You will have excellent skills in building quantitative models and be a highly experienced user of excel and database systems. You will possess good inter-personal skills, be an effective communicator and will be able to manage challenging situations that may require negotiation. In addition, you will have experience of leading projects and working alongside academics.
