Job Description

Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and graduate applied flute, coaching chamber music, woodwind repertoire and pedagogy, undergraduate and graduate recruiting, contributing to the artistic and intellectual life of the College and University, and maintaining a current profile as flautist and pedagogue in state regional and national activities. Other duties may be assigned by the Chair or Dean depending upon the needs of the Department of Music Performance Studies and the College of Musical Arts.

Minimum Qualifications & Salary:
- Earned Doctorate preferred or Master's degree with three years of performing and/or teaching experience
- Teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred
- Professional performing experience in all facets of flute performance (e.g. solo, chamber, orchestral and contemporary music)
