Opportunity Open to Existing School of Music Staff Only.
Applications are invited from existing senior academics (Grade 9 and 10) in the School of Music who are interested in holding this important leadership role.
Working with the School Management Team, you will lead on the delivery of the School’s academic plan and objectives and provide leadership to staff in the school.
You will be an active member of the University’s Leadership Forum and of the Faculty Executive Committee of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures promoting a coordinated approach to delivering innovative strategic academic development. You will be taking on a significant and complex leadership role in the Faculty, and must be able to lead with a clear vision, engaging others across the School, Faculty and University.
The Faculty is committed to building leadership teams that are reflective of our diversity and that of the broader community. We would, therefore, strongly encourage applications from those who have historically been under-represented in the Faculty’s senior leadership team. This includes (but is not limited to): women, those from black or minority ethnic backgrounds, people with disabilities and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
