POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Center for Biomedical Innovation (CBI), to join an interdisciplinary team of scientists working to build and run a lab-scale continuous monoclonal antibody production process. Will plan and execute integrated continuous manufacturing experiments in the lab, including perfusion bioreactors and continuous protein purification; and run analytical assays to assess key product quality attributes using methods that include HPLC and LC-MS to assess the impact of processing conditions on key product quality attributes. Responsibilities include planning and executing bioreactor experiments to support advanced process model development; sample preparation and sample analytics to measure key product quality attributes, using techniques including HPLC and LC-MS; the development of continuous purification methodology for a monoclonal antibody; documentation and data analysis; maintenance of a laboratory notebook and records; maintenance of key laboratory equipment to limit downtime; and performing other tasks as necessary.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: Ph.D. in chemical engineering, bioengineering, or similar field; and cell culture experience. PREFERRED: familiarity with techniques noted above, including protein purification, laboratory automation, and HPLC or other protein analytics methods. Job #19449
