Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Research and Innovation and as part of the senior Research and Innovation team, you will be responsible for academic leadership to develop a confident, supportive, ambitious research culture. You will work collaboratively with the Pro-Deans for Research, Pro-Deans International, senior Professional Services colleagues, and colleagues across the University. You will play a key leadership role in developing and delivering initiatives to support and enhance the research culture of the University on a sustained basis.
The person appointed will need quickly to build networks across the University and externally, and to work effectively in a complex and changing environment. Your approach will be considerate, persuasive and engaging, bringing key stakeholders along with you. You will ensure strategic alignment and drive transformational change across the institution.
