Baylor College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics and Texas Children's Hospital is seeking applicants for a clinical position in Pediatric Cardiology at the Austin Specialty Care Center of Texas Children's Hospital in Austin, Texas.

This is an exciting opportunity in the great Austin area, a vibrant and productive community, with excellent schools, new home developments and social life. The subspecialty center has multiple subspecialists currently and continues to grow significantly. The plans of opening the first Texas Children's Hospital in Austin, planned for the first part of 2024, will include an emergency center, inpatient units, pediatric intensive care unit, operating rooms, and multiple therapies, staffed with all pediatric subspecialties. In addition, the new hospital will accommodate general pediatric and subspecialty clinics.

The successful applicant will spend most of his or her time at the Austin Specialty Care Center, but will also be provided opportunities to be integrated into the clinical and academic program at Texas Children's Main Campus and Baylor College of Medicine.  All educational, quality and clinical meetings are televised to all locations and integrative technology is available for live participation. 

The successful candidate should have completed 3 years of fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiology and be Board certified or Board eligible in Pediatric Cardiology. Additional post-specialist training will be an advantage, especially in advanced imaging.  He or she will be appointed as an assistant or associate professor within Baylor College of Medicine, depending on qualifications, experience and track-record.
