Are you a highly skilled, delivery focused Solution Architect with experience of contributing to successful business change programmes? Do you have exceptional Business and IT Systems architecture skills? Are you interested in supporting the delivery of the University’s digital transformation?
We are looking for a Solution Architect to join IT at one of the biggest Universities in the UK to work on strategic Programmes that underpin critical University systems and processes. You will need to be able to get up to speed quickly and have excellent relationship building skills.
As part of the University’s Architecture team you will play a key role in supporting programme and project delivery. The current portfolio of IT delivery work spans our Web, ERP, MI, Student and Research information systems. We also have significant programmes of investment across the IT enablers including our Data Centres, Networks, Storage and Computer infrastructure. Alongside this we will be changing the way we support Identity and Cyber Security management.
As a Solution Architect you will help realise the benefits of these investments by taking a lead role in project delivery, the analysis of business needs and in the development of appropriate business and IT architectures.
You will work collaboratively with project managers, business representatives, end-users and technical teams within IT and the wider University to deliver systems that support effective and efficient business processes and align with University Strategy.
If you thrive working in a complex and varied environment this is an exciting opportunity for you to make a real difference in a world class organisation.
