Summary

The Department of Neurosurgery has an open position that involves participating in the clinical care of patients with neurological and psychiatric disorders who need functional neurosurgical intervention. Example interventions include deep brain stimulation, microsurgical resection, laser ablation, and other types of neuromodulation. The faculty member will assist with these surgical procedures. He or she will also evaluate these patients in clinic. The faculty member will also participate in research related to functional neurosurgery, as well as in education of medical students and residents.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • M.D. or equivalent
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board
