Job Summary/Basic Function:
Preparing both hot and cold food; detail and general cleaning; setting up and breaking down in-house events; caring and maintaining non-food inventory, supplies and equipment; stocking inventory supplies; running cash register; and washing dishes. This position will serve as vacation coverage to the current kitchen staff. May be asked to assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have basic food handling knowledge and kitchen skills, excellent time management, and superb customer service skills. Must be flexible and highly attentive to details with the ability to multitask, follow directions, takes initiative and work unsupervised. Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate with fellow employees and customers.

Minimum Degree Required:

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 10:30am to 3pm.

Preferred Qualifications:
Current, valid OKC Certified Food Service Operator Certificate highly desired. High School diploma, GED or equivalent also preferred. 2 years of previous experience preferred.

Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand, use manual dexterity, reach with hands and arms, hear, taste and smell. Frequently required to talk and lift or move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally required to sit, stoop, crouch, and kneel. Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Regularly exposed to extreme cold, -10ºF in freezers and extreme heat up to 110ºF from stoves and ovens. Potential risk of shock or burns to hands and arms. Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
