Job Description

Dr. Fueyo and Dr. Gomez-Manzano viroimmunotherapy laboratory seeks highly motivated post-doctoral research fellows to investigate the development of new therapeutic approaches for the primary and metastatic brain tumors. Prior experience in molecular and cell biology, as well as immunology is highly desirable. The candidate must be self-driven, ethical, and a team player.

We have generated oncolytic adenoviruses with selective replication in cancer cells, tested preclinically and move these agents to first-in-human clinical application, and then to multicentric clinical trials. Our current studies are focused on finding new avenues for improving the results obtained in the clinical arena. The research has both basic and translational components and will encompass the use of molecular and cellular biology, as well as immunology and models of solid cancers.
