Department Summary

Assistant Professor (PhD) is being recruited to join the epidemiology team in the Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Centers at BCM. In this position, the faculty will conduct epidemiologic studies on the etiology of pediatric cancer and investigate disparities in its treatment outcomes.

This position will use epidemiological skill set to analyze samples and data, which can be leveraged for novel assessments of the role of gene-environment interactions on pediatric cancer risk and outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education - PhD - Epidemiology preferred
  • Experience - 3 years
  • Special skills required:  Epidemiology postdoctoral work
