Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge? Do you want to work in partnership with a leading UK chemical manufacturer? Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?
As part of a strategic collaboration between the University of Leeds, University of Warwick and Infineum UK Ltd, an ESPRC-IAA project has been established to conduct high-resolution molecular characterisation of organic species in very low sulfur fuel oils. The project is entirely experimental and you will work closely with the project partners to comprehensively characterise the chemical properties of the organic species. The study will further our understanding of the governing structure-performance relationships and guide new thinking to design appropriate dispersant molecules.
Holding a PhD in (or close to completion) in a science or engineering aligned discipline, you will have a background in experimental research.
