Do you want to join a University which is embarking on an ambitious journey of digital transformation? Do you have an excellent knowledge and understanding of learning technologies combined with a passion for innovation? Are you committed to delivering an exceptional student experience?
The University is an exciting, and creative environment in which to build a career. Our staff have a broad array of skills and experience but work together in collaborative and inclusive ways in partnership with our students and academic colleagues who teach them. You can find out about the University’s Leadership Excellence Behaviours Framework here. We value diversity and welcome everyone to our global community. We are professional, helpful, approachable and inclusive - values that we are all committed to.
The cross faculty (Environment (FoE) and Engineering and Physical Sciences (EPS)) Teaching Innovation Support Service is a team of learning technologists providing high quality support for academic teaching staff across both faculties.
You will work with the FoE Digital Education Academic Lead and the Pro Dean for Student Education to develop and implement the Faculty’s Enhancement strategy. This will involve the provision of practical support and guidance to enable Faculty members to utilise fully the functionality of the University’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and to take advantage of other learning technologies to enhance learning and teaching within the Faculty.
You will have experience of supporting teaching staff in their use of a wide range of learning technologies and will be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge and understanding of educational technology, and the pedagogies and education theories underpinning digital education.
