Job Description


Perform detailed analysis to understand issues and business requirements to develop and deliver robust Security solutions for SuccessFactors, SAP, PEPT and related systems. Work together with other support teams and the central departments in order to provide on-going Security support and troubleshoot Security issues. Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external Security policies and best practices to protect Baylor's systems and data. Includes the design and delivery of Security Roles, implementing Segregation of Duties rulesets, and conducting Periodic Access Reviews. Assist and guide testing of Security changes.

Job Duties

  • Maintain and administer application security across all Business Applications for the College (SAP, SuccessFactors, BPC, Budget, GRC, and Concur)
  • Address security requests and incidents within the agreed upon service level agreement
  • Escalate concerns to management and provides recommendations for resolution
  • Work to proactively identify process gaps and solutions to prevent security issues or address common issues
  • Support projects and deliverables including the upcoming SAP Finance Reimplementation, SAP Budget Implementation, and PEPT Implementation, and SAP GRC Implementation Creates and maintains documentation of configuration and design changes
  • Participate in development and implementation of security and technology projects including the upcoming implementation of SAP GRC and S4 HANA
  • Participate in security reviews, evaluations, and risk assessments
  • Responsible for the continuous optimization, integrity and evaluation of security for SuccessFactors, SAP and other systems
  • Support projects and deliverables including the upcoming SAP Finance Reimplementation, SAP Budget Implementation, and PEPT Implementation, and SAP GRC Implementation
  • Participate in audit activities, provide detailed documentation as required related to security administration processes, and propose/deliver resolutions to Audit issues and concerns
  • Participate in regular penetration testing and cyber-security initiatives
  • Take action to remediate any issues uncovered

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three to five years of experience in SAP Security Analysis
  • Two years of experience with SuccessFactors, Cloud Applications, and GRC toolset.
  • Knowledge and experience with S4 HANA strongly preferred.
  • Relevant SAP, SuccessFactors and GRC classes and certifications.
