Job Description

Summary

The Senior Business Applications Associate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the existing Professional Effort Planning Tool (PEPT)  and HRIS Reports, engage in the ongoing and upcoming development and support of Mosaic Reporting initiatives. Responsibilities: work with reporting team(s) in COO organization to develop data sources, models and repositories to support analytics needs; work with the PEPT team to develop and maintain reports, data sources and repositories to support PEPT analytical needs; work with HRIS to develop and maintain data sources and repositories to support HR analytical needs.  Will also work with Mosaic team to develop and maintain data sources, repositories of a cross functional data warehouse.

Job Duties

  • Apply sound data modeling and design skills
  • Perform hands-on development work using tools and systems such PowerBI, PostGres SQL, other Databases
  • Interact with customers to understand data needs
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality
  • Understand functional areas' business requirements and translate into technical specifications and user-friendly reports and dashboards and data visualizations
  • Provide support in identification, integration and preparation of large volumes of data
  • Prepare high quality documentation
  • PEPT data models and reporting
    • Work with the COO reporting team to develop data models, sources and data repositories to support their Reporting requirements
    • Work with the HRIS team to develop data models, sources and data repositories to support their Reporting requirements
    • Participate in the Mosaic project and contribute to the development of a cross-functional data warehouse
  • Design and build standard & advanced reports and dashboards for PEPT
  • Participate in the Mosaic project to develop a cross-functional data warehouse
  • Participate in the Mosaic project to design and build standard & advanced reports & dashboards using the cross-functional data warehouse
  • Work with the reporting teams in the COO organization and HRIS to develop data models, data sources with existing repositories, as well as build new repositories to support their analytical and reporting needs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.  Four years of relevant experience may substitute for degree requirement. 
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must have good communication skills, ability to work with and influence business stakeholders with different backgrounds and job functions
  • Experience designing and building standard & advanced reports and dashboards
  • Strong knowledge of business intelligence tools (i.e. MS PowerBI), databases, SQL to support data analysis and predictive analytics
  • Strong Database modeling and Data Warehousing principles
  • Strong Data modeling
  • Strong knowledge of report and dashboard development
  • S4 HANA experience 
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Writing report queries, including an understanding of relational databases
  • Business process analysis and problem solving
