Job Description

The Deputy Director of Research and Innovation International Excellence and Research Culture (DDoRI) is responsible, on behalf of the Head of School and Director of Research and Innovation, for providing direction and cohesion in the development of the School’s research and innovation strategy, ensuring synergy, prioritisation, sustainability and excellence.

The DDoRI International Excellence and Research Culture plays a key role in the School’s leadership team, promoting coordinated strategic academic development across all areas of activity.

Normally, the post is expected to receive a workload compensation of 33 days per year (15% FTE). The tenure for the DDoRI post will be for a period of between three and five years, by mutual agreement on appointment.

The postholder will be accountable to the Director of Research and Innovation and the Head of School.

The postholder will be expected to work in accordance with the University’s policies, procedures and values, promoting academic excellence through integrity, inclusiveness, professionalism and community.
