Rider University, an NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) invites applications for a part-time Head Coach, Men’s and Women’s Tennis.  The successful individual will manage all aspects of running a Division I tennis program including recruiting, evaluating and improving team and individual performance, perfecting tennis skills and managing training programs.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous coaching experience
  • Knowledge of and willingness to comply with NCAA rules/regulations
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Computer and social media technology competency
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
 

Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • Previous coaching experience at the NCAA level
  • Head collegiate coaching experience
  • Competitive collegiate or professional playing experience
  • Experience in recruiting student-athletes
