Job Description


This is a non-tenured clinical track part-time faculty position with the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.


  • This position will be split between clinical activity of inpatient consults at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center (BSLMC) and Kindred, BSLMC inpatient rehabilitation services, and /or as assigned.
  • Provide call coverage inpatient rehabilitation center at BSLMC, or as assigned.
  • Education and training of residents, fellows and medical students.
  • Participation in committees, among other administrative duties.
  • Attend faculty meetings and at least 75% of Grand Rounds and other special lectures.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety efforts.
  • Comply with regulatory requirements related to patient care, and Baylor College of Medicine.
  • Participate in faculty reviews, other departmental meetings, retreats and activities.
  • Perform other disciplines and specialty specific duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Must possess an MD or MD/PhD from an accredited medical school and have or be eligible to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical LicenseMust possess an MD or MD/PhD from an accredited medical school and have or be eligible to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical License.
