The Senior Coordinator, Business Operations will support the department's business operations by working with a diverse group of physicians, clinical and admin staff. This position will get the change to coordinate the day to day operations and financial process for the department under the direction of departmental leadership. Job Purpose

Provide support to the department by coordinating financial and business processes, processing personnel related transactions, and liaising with central departments.

Job Duties

  • Reconciles cost centers, gifts, contracts, and endowment accounts monthly.
  • Monthly financial reports to the faculty on their endowments, gifts, donation, etc accounts.
  • Monthly P/L statements for the dept and the sections.
  • Reconciles Concur, PO’s, pcards, check requests, journal vouchers, budget revisions.
  • Works with supply chain, accounts payable, accounts receivable to manage.
  • Works on the annual budget and maintains the budget throughout the fiscal year.
  • Initiates and manage contracts with vendors, etc.
  • Assists or manage pre or post award in coordination with the Grants Manager.
  • Assists with monthly financial reporting on grants/contracts.
  • Works with faculty on gifts, endowments, seed funding, etc and ensure guidelines are followed.
  • Ongoing review and development of process improvement on business processes.
  • Assists or manage special projects as assigned for the department and clinic.
  • Ensures that College and Department policies and guidelines are followed.
  • Directly reports to the Manager of Business Operations. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, healthcare or related field. 
  • SAP knowledge highly preferred. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
