Are you an academic with a proven ability to carry out cutting-edge teaching in German translation and Translation Studies? Are you passionate about leading and delivering quality teaching for German in the School of Languages, Cultures and Societies at Leeds?
You will carry out teaching in German and Translation Studies studies, with a particular focus on German translation. You will convene and teach a number of undergraduate language modules and contribute to the teaching of some German modules as appropriate. You will be expected to take administrative duties at unit and school level, as appropriate.
You will hold or be close to completion of a PhD in German Translation Studies or a cognate discipline and possess relevant teaching experience.
