As part of the application process, applicants seeking faculty positions at the University of Oregon are required to submit a statement about promoting equity, inclusion, and diversity in their professional careers. The University of Oregon School of Law invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor focusing on business/corporate law, to begin in August 2022. Oregon Law has a nationally recognized Business Law Program and we are excited to continue building our institutional expertise in that area. Applicants must have scholarship, teaching, applied research experience, and/or practice expertise in business law, corporate law, and/or related fields. All methodologies and approaches are welcome.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum qualifications include a record of academic excellence, demonstrated success or the potential for success in scholarship and teaching, and a JD from an accredited law school or its equivalent. Successful candidates must be able to work effectively with students, staff, and faculty from culturally diverse backgrounds and with multiple intersectional identities, and to help advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in the university community.

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants with scholarship, teaching, applied research experience, or practice expertise in corporate law and/or related fields.
