An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Faculty of Medicine and Health for a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual seeking a role in project management to join a world-leading clinical research group.
Based at Chapel Allerton Hospital the Musculoskeletal Research Programme Manager will coordinate a portfolio of work on common non-inflammatory musculoskeletal (MSK) diseases, including a £2.5m research programme, funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). The programme, led by the University of Leeds in partnership with the Universities of Southampton, Keele and Aberdeen, will develop and evaluate a digital rehabilitation package of care for distal upper limb pain.
The role holder will work closely with academics and researchers to coordinate and manage all aspects of the non-inflammatory MSK portfolio, and for the Programme Grant will be responsible for project reports, finances and social media. The role-holder must have the ability to organise a team to achieve specific tasks and have excellent communication skills to work and build relationships with grant stakeholders.
You will have a first degree, be able to demonstrate experience of project management administration in a research setting and have excellent interpersonal and team-working skills. The post is available for two years, commencing 1st July 2021.
