Assist with all aspects the women's rowing program; primarily with recruiting and coaching the novice rowing squad. Other duties may include assisting with coaching varsity athletes, travel coordination, assisting with recruiting, equipment maintenance, NCAA compliance and assisting with fundraising.

1. Recruit and coach the novice rowing squad. Assis Head Coach and Assistant Coach with on campus recruitment of walk-on student athletes. Responsible for all coordination of walk-on clearance to play (NCAA compliance tracking and training room clearance). Work with Head Coach and Assistant Coach to develop practice schedule for novice. Act as primary coach for all novice practices and races. Develop and implement novice rowing training plan.

2. Travel Coordination- assist with travel logistics for practice (van pool) and racing

3. Assist with coaching of varsity athletes

4. Assist with recruitment of experienced athletes, especially coordinating official visits and completion of NCAA paperwork in relation to recruiting

5. Equipment maintenance- assist in maintenance of boats, trailers, boathouse, ergs, etc.

6. Fundraising- assist in fundraising as needed

Experience and Qualifications
Experience: (years required and applicable field of experience):

Skills/Abilities: (e.g. computer skills, written & verbal skills, trades, laws, procedures, technical)

Licenses & Certifications (e.g. CPA, RN, etc.): REQUIRED: N/A PREFERRED: Rowing Coaching certified, Completion of SafeSport education, REQUIRED: CPR/ AED certified
