The Marketing Department in the Norm Brodsky College of Business at Rider University seeks adjunct instructors for the Fall 2021 semester, which runs from September 8, 2021 – December 21, 2021.
This position is to teach CBA 110 Business in Action, which is the Norm Brodsky College of Business’s required freshman introductory business course. There are two sections available to teach: B1 (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, 9:10-10:10 AM) and C2 (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, 10:20-11:20 AM). The courses will be taught on campus and in-person.
CBA 110 Business Action
Description: This course will provide students with the opportunity to develop a foundational understanding of the business environment and various business functions. Students will be introduced to core concepts in accounting, e-business, finance, human resource management, information technology, macroeconomics, management, marketing, and production and operations management. In addition, the student will have ample opportunity to improve his/her communication and teamwork skills, as well as further develop problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities through a Business in Action project.
Master’s degree in business (MBA) and relevant work experience. The successful candidate will be dynamic in the classroom and dedicated to our students’ learning and development.
Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience
Experience teaching at the college level is strongly preferred.
