Job Description


This position will serve as the full cycle recruiter and will have regular interaction with Administrators, Directors and Managers. Identify and actively recruit the most qualified candidates for employment at Baylor College of Medicine. Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and strategy. Manage the entire recruitment process including sourcing, recruiter interview, assessments, background verifications and job offer.

Job Purpose

Manages talent acquisition and recruitment strategies at Baylor College of Medicine. Advises departments on employment laws.

Job Duties

  • Analyzes position descriptions and creates job postings; assists departments with screening questions and reviews applicants.
  • Works on recruitment and selection strategies.
  • Posts jobs on internal/external career sites.
  • Assists departments with interview questions and reference checking.
  • Manages the entire recruitment process including sourcing, recruiter interview, background verifications and job offers.
  • Collaborates with International Services team to facilitate employment offers to foreign national candidates.
  • Troubleshoots recruitment related issues for key stakeholders.
  • Maintains relationships with past candidates for future opportunities.
  • Strategically sources potential hires from diverse backgrounds. Counsels departmental contacts on various issues which may include: compensation, HR policies and procedures, advertisements, and offers. Participates in career fairs, on-campus recruiting, and summer programs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.
  • Three years of recruitment experience.
