Summary

Internal Title:  Senior Development Associate

External Title:  Associate Director, Annual Giving

 

Join a team with big vision for growth. The Associate Director of Annual Giving reports directly to the Senior Director, Annual Giving and is responsible for coordination and execution of annual giving fundraising strategies.

 

Current condition is a hybrid model, working in the office, and at home.

Job Duties

• Handles aspects of annual giving program, including Employee Giving Campaign and Giving Levels; works with volunteer hospital committee representatives to help operationalize Employee Giving Campaign.
• Establishes and maintains vendor relationships for Employee Giving Campaign.
• Works with faculty to develop fundraising initiatives; assists with managing the faculty appeal process and ensures strengthening of ties between faculty and advancement.
• Collaborates with data team to collect lists and track results; provides insights on Baylor College of Medicine’s priorities.
• Initiates strategies for Annual Giving Appeals including content gathering, email and list creation, building and sending emails, tracking results and providing recommendations.
• Assists in the planning, development and fulfillment of direct mail and digital communication efforts; works with third-party vendor to create email messaging and donation pages.
• Assists with the Mid-Level/Leadership Giving Program’s efforts.
• Answers operational and procedural questions related to the fundraising database/software.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Four years of relevant experience. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with a content management system (CMS)
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS
• Communications, writing, editing experience
