Responsibilities

The position provides 50% support to the Health & Wellness Center and 50% support to Campus Housing each week.

Health & Wellness: Manages and coordinates daily office operations for the H&WC, with strong proficiency in multi-tasking and organization. Provides highly professional in-person and phone contact to patients, parents and partners both within and outside the college. Maintains medical records, liaison for student health insurance needs, facilitates scheduling appointments. Manages the intake of patients with attention to both customer service and operational efficiency.

Campus Housing: Reporting to the Director of Campus Housing, the position will provide critical direction for the operational aspects of the housing program. The position will be responsible for room assignments, office management, housing information management software, and student staff supervision. The position maintains critical collaborations with other departments including the Business Office, Facilities Services, Student Disabilities Services, Athletics, and Meetings Events and Conference Services. The position works closely with staff of the Office of Residential Experience as it is related to housing operations, policies, and procedures.

Experience and Qualifications

Education: REQUIRED: Minimum four years of college education or equivalent PREFERRED: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: (years required and applicable field of experience): Minimum four years administrative/office support experience; experience in similar setting or higher education desirable.

Skills/Abilities: (e.g. computer skills, written & verbal skills, trades, laws, procedures, technical) Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills; ability to handle complex phone and in-person inquiries; interact in calm manner in times of high service demand for diverse student needs; ability to work in an organized manner with emphasis on detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision yet remain part of a team. Able to maintain high levels of confidentiality and protect the privacy of students.
