Job Description

Position Highlights:

Strategically directs the Organizational Development (OD) functions and consulting services to achieve Moffitt business goals. Initiate, support and facilitate endeavors to enhance organizational effectiveness through professional services offered by the Organizational Development department. Responsible for advancement of OD professional services in the Clinical and Research divisions at Moffitt, increasing the service reach of development and organizational change management opportunities. Lead the Advising team in strategic design and implementation of a systematic approach to the leader-lifecycle and relevant individual professional development programs and departmental bench-strength building, including Hogan assessments and coaching. Management of multiple streams of work within Consulting team and cross collaboration with HR Business Partners and EPMO for a coordinated approach. Lead quarterly strategic reviews with Moffitt VP's to assess and align on annual OD goals for that department.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have program design and build experience of systems-level solutions.
  • Proven track-record of developing and advancing team members.
  • Ability to lead through, and introduce, change.
  • Strong decision-making and organizational skills with an emphasis on inclusion of thought from a variety of stakeholders.
  • Core understanding of data analytic processes.
  • Experience with curriculum development and current educational philosophies for the digital world.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
    -Manage day-to-day operations of the Advising team. Oversee alignment of client work and assist with guidance for client solutions and organizational needs. Responsible for fiscal management, cost management, and quarterly forecasting for the Advising team.  Work with each member on team for growth and professional development opportunities. Continually increase team bench strength in skills.
  • Expansion of Professional Services
    - Initiate, support and facilitate organizational effectiveness through client engagement based on organizational structure, programs, processes and services aimed at gaining sustainable competitive advantage.
    - Oversee portfolio of services, identify additional areas for client services to be offered, establish and maintain client relationship management.
    - Responsible for advancement of services in the Clinical and Research verticals, creating consistency of services across the organization.
    - Lead the Advising team in strategic design and implementation of a systematic approach to the leader lifecycle and relevant professional development programs, assessment and coaching, and quarterly VP reviews
    - Management of multiple streams of work within Advising team and cross collaboration with HR Business Partners and EPMO for coordinated approach.
  • Fiscal Management
    - Monitor team costs and conduct strategic margin management to operate as efficiently as possible.
    - Identify emerging cost savings, spend, or revenue opportunities.
    - Quarterly update the forecast.
    - Actively oversee and manage work effort tracking to identify trends and forecasting of work. Engage in predictive resource analytics based on work demands and productivity.
  • Development of Solutions
    - Responsible for identification of organizational, divisional, and departmental needs and map to existing services as well as identify areas for revision of services and development of new.
    - With a recent digital transformation and the onset of a Learning Institute, what services and processes need to be built.
    - Write business proposals, quantify with the Strategy department market trends and benchmarks, speak to business cases for change or growth.
    - Design signature programs from scratch. Understands and utilizes the program development life cycle.
  • Client Engagement and Management
    - Develops, grows, and maintains client relationships. Understands the management principles of engagement, strategic planning, cadence of communication, risk management, KPIs, and client account monitoring.

 

Credentials and Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Organizational Development, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, or related field required.
  • Seven(7) to ten(10) years of progressive experience in a role that provides organizational development professional services to organizations.
  • Ten(10) years experience leading teams on multiple projects and programs with an ability to manage multiple high priority assignments simultaneously. Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Seven(7) to ten(10) years experience managing client relationships.
     
    Preferred:
  • Experience with professional service models.
  • Experience in healthcare.
  • Knowledge and application of digital solutions within an organization. Individual executive coaching experience.
  • Experiencing writing business plans and statements of work.
