Position Description

The Department of Fine Arts at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor of Art for the Spring semester beginning January 24, 2022. This position is to teach ART 103, Fundamentals of Drawing. 

Position Requirements

·       A Master degree in Fine Art or closely related field 
·       Proficiency in working with Charcoal, Pencil, and Pen & Ink 
·       An understanding of observational drawing and related techniques
·       Experience teaching and working with a wide range of student abilities

Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience

·       Experience engaging students in critique and discussion of aesthetic
