The Department of Arts and Communication at the University of Houston Downtown seeks qualified and committed adjunct instructors to teach in the following disciplines: graphic design, painting, drawing, art history, arts administration.
The candidate must plan and create course syllabi, lecture, and provide quality instruction and guidance, follow established institutional guidelines, evaluate student performance, maintain a positive educational environment in the classroom, etc.
Candidates must hold a PhD, MFA, or Master’s degree with at least 18 hours of graduate course work in the particular discipline.
