Job Description


The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide outpatient assessments for patients at the BSLMC Transplant Institute. The Psychiatrist will see and evaluate patients at the Transplant Institute. This incudes outpatient follow up, and care coordination with transplant teams, lab follow ups, phone follows, and inbox management. 


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Education: Must have an MD or DO degree with completion of an approved residency in general psychiatry; board-certified or board-eligible for certification by ABPN
  • Experience: Related experience or training required.
  • Certification/Licenses/Registration: Must be licensed by the Texas Medical Board; Current CPR certification.
