Position Summary:
Tenure Track Faculty – Quality Systems/Systems Engineering
The Department of Engineering Technologies in the College of Technology, Architecture & Applied Engineering is seeking to fill a full time, tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, in the areas of Quality Systems/Systems Engineering including statistical quality control, lean systems, logistics, and systems engineering in general.



Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:
Teach and develop undergraduate and graduate level courses in Quality Systems/Systems Engineering areas
Conduct research that leads to peer-reviewed publications in Quality Systems/Systems Engineering
Conduct research that is supported by external funding
Provide appropriate service to the department, college, university, and the profession

Minimum Qualifications & Salary:
Minimum Qualifications
- A doctoral degree in industrial engineering, systems engineering, quality engineering, or very closely related discipline. Individuals who reasonably expect to complete their Ph.D. before the start date of the contract will be considered.
- Evidence of peer reviewed publications in relevant areas


Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience teaching and developing undergraduate/graduate courses at the university level and/or at least 1 year of industry experience in relevant areas
- Experience performing online or hybrid (in-person and online) teaching
- Evidence of external funding in relevant areas
