Are you passionate about supporting students to succeed beyond their graduation?
Student Careers is responsible for the development and delivery of information, advice and guidance for students supporting the development of their skills, experience and employability through a range of interactions both online and face to face within and outside of the academic curriculum.
You will make a significant contribution to the strategic direction of the Service as part of the Service’s leadership team, aligning and prioritising resources to ensure operational effectiveness, and deputising for the Head of Careers as appropriate.
You will support the delivery of the University Employability Strategy, ensuring that the Service achieves its objectives and delivers a seamless, professional service to students, graduates, employers and the academic community.
You will lead and develop delivery in the Careers central teams (Information and Advice, Student Communications & Engagement and Mentoring/WP team) and be responsible for the website, marketing, and training. You will lead on our new Student Peer Support Assistants who will be delivering drop in information from our Careers Centre, and you will help develop them and the role.
