Louisiana Tech University invites applications for a lecturer position in Chemistry. The hire will have expertise in general chemistry especially in teaching laboratory sections. The position may include setting up and teaching labs, maintenance and care of laboratory instrumentation, and associated tasks. Supervision of undergraduate Capstone research students is expected. The position will include teaching lectures in general chemistry and the area of expertise.

Lecturer candidates must have an earned doctorate in chemistry or a closely related field. The successful candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, have strong teaching skills, display a commitment to high-quality professional service, and will actively participate in program and college responsibilities, including service on committees and directing undergraduate research.
