Summary
This position is located in Ben Taub Hospital/NPC Bldg Houston, TX 77030.
Job Duties
- Attend meetings and take minutes.
- Maintains accurate leave request.
- Coordinates day-to-day business activities of service chief.
- Coordinates calendar and meetings for the AMS division of Psychiatry.
- Manage administrative request and questions from service chief , Deputy Chiefs and directors.
- Assist with recruitment of faculty and staff for Baylor and Harris Health System.
- Handle confidential documents given by leadership.
- Organize and supervise office activities assigned by service chief (event planning, catering, etc.).
- Coordinates Baylor and Harris Health System on-boarding, orientation, credentialing, maintains required documents and obtains signatures.
- Prepare presentations or reports as assigned by service chief.
- Schedules interviews on behalf of the hiring managers and supported faculty.
- Assist with faculty reappointments and renewals.
- Assists with the day-to-day operations and other duties as assigned Responsible for the preparation, filing, and maintenance of correspondence and other records.
- Makes copies, prints, scans, faxes, and distributes materials as needed. Interacts closely with faculty and departmental leadership on a daily basis.
- Adheres to the highest degree of professional standards and maintains a strict and high level of confidentiality in matters that require discretion.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Four years of relevant experience.
