Job Description

Under the broad direction of the Radiologist, Manager of Diagnostic Imaging and the Administrator of Radiology Imaging Services, the Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor shall perform radiographic examinations on selected portions of the anatomy. The Supervisor is expected to perform a variety of procedures with the knowledge and ability to properly and safely obtain diagnostic images as requested by the clinician on patients in the following age groups: adolescence 12-19 years, adults 20-64 years and geriatric 65 and over as needed. Responsible for the direct supervision of the Diagnostic Technologists and the daily operation of the Diagnostic section. Assist others and staff with the coordination of procedures throughout all sections within Diagnostic Imaging.


Must be able to work scheduled and "ON CALL" hours.

Education requirements:

Associates' degree- Field of Study: Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and A.M.A accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • ARRT
  • BLS
  • RT
  • FL State DOH License
  • Experience:

    Minimum of five (5) years experience as Radiology Technologist or equivalent with a minimum of one (1) year in a leadership role in Diagnostic Imaging.
