Saint Mary's seeks a dynamic instructor for the course, Theatre Production Practicum, to be offered in Fall 2022. In this team-taught course, partial or full credit is available for participation as a member of the stage crew for the semester's mainstage production.

This course will be taught on the Moraga campus, in person, on Wednesdays from 7:00pm - 8:00pm during the 2022 Fall term.

Course Description: A quarter, half or full credit is available for student backstage tech crew members working on Performing Arts mainstage performances. A wide variety of production roles are available. The instructor will serve as the Production Manager for the mainstage Theatre production.

Required Qualifications: An MFA in Production Management or a related field (such as Stage Management or Technical Production) and 3 years of experience working with undergraduate students. The successful candidate will have experience in a culturally diverse classroom setting, the ability to create a student-centered, interactive and collaborative learning environment, and a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education.
