Louisiana Tech University, an NCAA Division 1 member of Conference USA, is seeking applications for the position of Associate Director of Business Operations. This is a full-time, 12-month, entry-level position. Bachelor’s degree is required. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Previous experience in intercollegiate athletics and business operations is preferred.
The person hired to fill this position will be responsible for effective and efficient operations of athletic department daily business operations. He/she will be required to ensure that all areas of the athletic department demonstrate a commitment to maintaining compliance with NCAA, C-USA, Louisiana Tech, and the State of Louisiana rules and regulations. Superb communication skills, verbal and written, are critical and a requirement of this job. Candidate must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat software. Experience in Louisiana Tech University Operating System (Workday) is preferred. Confidentiality within the department must also be maintained.
Job Duties include but are not limited to the following;
1. Responsible for preparation and execution of expense reimbursement forms, spend authorizations, supplier invoice requests, official visit reimbursement forms, and Foundation check requests, other form preparation for Executive and Senior staff leadership and designated team sports.
2. Act as liaison with Christopherson Travel, Bus Vendors, Hotels, Enterprise, State toll departments, and other travel-related vendors associated with business office transactions.
3. Perform other duties as assigned by Athletics Executive and Senior staff leadership and assigned team sports’ coaches and staff.
